Burrinja Climate Change Biennale presents

Temperance

Ryan Tews

Jan. 20 - Mar. 12, 2023 | Arts Centre Waburton

Glancing of a lens at the wonder of the ancient Gonwandan flora, which around us still remain.

The relic rainforests in so called “Australia” are the surviving descendants of the original plant life that used to cover the whole continent. These were the original forests. Covering now less than 0.25 percent of the land, these ancient plant community ecosystems are on the brink.

Temperance aims to highlight the majesty of such ancestral ecosystems, and bring awareness to the serious threats these communities now face.
